THE BONI COMMUNITY IN KENYA

The boni community is the least populated tribe in kenya, the mostly occupy the coastal region in LAMU district and there area of a location is 21km from lamu town to their village called BARAGONI, there population range to 300 people,this cmmunity is facing extinction some years to come due to poverty,health and education which are the impacts behind their reduced population.

      There activities normally involves searching for honey in the bush,farming which is not doing better in the due to prolonged dry season,the community has only one educa\tional center and health center which is based in the military camp in the village some are forced to walk over 50km from village called MANGAI which has no any health center and even spend two days on the way to get where there is health center in BARAGONI village as result of poor means of transport .
          Poverty realy affect this community due to low source of income in their daily activities so this is an open communinty project to all well wishers who are willing to help the BONI COMMUNITY IN KENYA for more details contact.
